How It Works
For each product category, we ask the same question to four different AI models:
- GPT-4.1 Nano (OpenAI)
- Gemini 2.5 Flash (Google)
- Grok 4.1 Fast (xAI)
- Llama 4 Scout (Meta)
Each model gives us their top 5 recommendations based on their training data. We then identify which products appear across multiple models — that's the AI Consensus.
Why This Matters
Different AI models are trained on different data and have different biases. When multiple models independently recommend the same product, it's a stronger signal that the product is genuinely good.
What We Don't Do
- We don't use web search — these are pure AI opinions from training data
- We don't take payments from product companies
- We don't manually curate or edit the recommendations
Limitations
AI models have knowledge cutoffs and may not know about the newest products. Their recommendations are based on training data, not real-time reviews. Always do your own research before making a purchase.
